I’ve worn the same Bianchi Accumold for many years now and figured it was time to invest in a good quality duty belt because I was starting to develop back pain and had constant pressure on my hips. I’ve read many positive reviews about Blue Alpha and so I decided to pull the trigger on this belt. I was incredibly impressed from the moment I got the belt. When I received my package, I almost didn’t believe the duty belt was in there. It’s incredibly lightweight yet very sturdy. I still wear suspenders for my belt to help with my back pain but it’s basically completely gone and there is absolutely no pressure on my hips anymore. This is my first molle belt and I wish I would have switched sooner. I hated how much pouches moved around nearly every time I took off my belt and thankfully I don’t have that problem anymore. Everything is exactly where it was last time I wore it. I really appreciate the fact that Blue Alpha provided good options for the buckles instead of messing around with trying to create their own buckles or outsourced cheap ones. I went with the GT Cobra to test it out before I swapped it for the aluminum one I already had and I was really impressed. It seems like it’s very good quality, very snug and secure and while this isn’t important, it looks great. While this is a short-term review, I will happily update it in a year or two from now after it’s gotten some heavy use to see how it held up. From what I’ve read, it seems like I’ll be happy with my purchase for years to come. I’ve been so happy with my purchase already that I’m waiting for some pouches to come in. Can’t wait to swap out some of the current ones I have to test Blue Alpha’s out!
